PDP will suffer great defeat in February polls – Buhari group

Date:

From: Femi Oyelola, Kaduna

Buhari Presidential Support Committee (PSC) has said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and his group will suffer defeat in the coming general election.
National Publicity Secretary of PSC, Kilani Muhammed made the assertion during the inauguration ceremony of the North West Executive members of the committee held in Kaduna yesterday.
Kilani said that President Muhammadu Buhari will come out victorious in the elections because of his trackrecords in infrastructural development and security, saying Buhari led administration has done much to deserve reelection.
Kilani disclosed that PSC is on the top gear to garner support for President Buhari across the six geo-political zones, saying that the good work of the President should not be allowed to be truncated by set of people who do not mean well for the country.
He explained that the present administration met the economy at zero level, which according to him; the government has tremendously improved on.
“Nigerians should not compare them. Some were at the helm of affairs for 16 years without anything to show for it, and in less than four years, this administration has improved on the agricultural sector, which is now contributing nothing less than 16 per cent to the Nigerian Gross Domestic Product.
“This government has also improved on the infrastructure across the country, and this is an indication that President Buhari can do better in the next four years”, he said.
Speaking on the mandates of the inaugurated zonal executive, he said the committee’s assignment is to secure every single vote for APC and its candidates.
“We are going to double our efforts in ensuring that we deliver more votes for President Buhari compare to what we did in 2015″, he stressed.
