• May take definite decision on Wike

After several months of postponement, the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP is underway at its Legacy House presidential campaign office in Maitama, Abuja.

The NEC meeting, which was initially billed to hold at the party’s National headquarters, Wadata House, Wuse, could not following the sealing of the latter by the Federal Capital Territory Administration FCTA on Monday over unpaid accumulated ground rent.

The meeting is coming on the heels of that of the national caucus which began yesterday and was concluded today at the Bauchi State Government Liaison office in Asokoro Abuja.

There are indications the NEC may take a definite decision on the issue of the Federal Capital Territory FCT Minister, county jail for the PDP Mr Nyesom Wike today.

Among those already on ground for the meeting are Governors of Bauchi, Osun,  Plateau, Zamfara, Adamawa, Oyo and erstwhile Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki..

Others include; former Governors of the party, erstwhile Ministers, party chieftains including; Senator Adolphus Wabara, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Prince Uche Secondus, former National Chairman, Prof Jerry Gana, former Minister of Information and pioneer National Secretary of the PDP and Chief Tom Ikimi, former Minister of External Affairs.
