Physically challenged in Kaduna want more members in Agro projects

Persons With Disability and Special Needs (PWDSN), in Kaduna State has pleaded with Governor Nasir Ahmed El-Rufa’i, to increase the number of their members in the Agro-Processing Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support Project, (APPEALS) programme, in order to reduce poverty and create opportunities.
The Executive Director, Women with Disability Self-Reliance Foundation, Mrs Risikat Toyin Muhammed, stated this during a 2-day interactive meeting on harmonization of needs assessment and formulation of livelihood package for PWDSN in Kaduna on Monday.
Mrs Muhammed who expressed gratitude to the State Government for including 85 PWDSN, however appealed to the government to stick to the 5 per cent agreed upon in the proposal.
