The Jigawa state Police Command has succeeded in arresting the two notorious arm robbers terrorising Birnin Kudu to Gwaram high-way.
The Police spokesperson in the state, SP Abdul Jinjiri dropped the hint yesterday while speaking to news men in Dutse the state capital.
He explained that, the two suspected arm robbers meet their waterloo when the police patrol team deployed to the area in an effort to ensure the security of properties and lives of the people in the area.
According Jinjiri, the suspects whom were identified as Abdullahi Isyaku and Sulaiman Alhaji Yahaya are arrested on their motorcycle after robbing some people Tsamiyar Tarnaga area of Birnin Kudu local government Jigawa state.
He maintained that, the two suspected armed robbers confessed for terrorising the people in the area adding that they are all from Nabordo village, Toro local government area of Bauchi state.
The Police spokesperson also said, after the operation, locally made single Barrel Gun and Revolver pistol with seven rounds of cartridges were funded with suspects.
SP Jinjiri added that, the suspects after the investigation will be charge to court for criminal conspiracy and unlawful possession fire arms.
He then urged people in the state to cooperate with police and other security agencies in the state for a better and peaceful Jigawa state.
