The Jigawa state police command ?has succeeded in arresting a 35 years old suspected notorious Akwa-ibom kidnapper in Hadejia area of Jigawa state.
The Police Public Relations Officer SP Abdul Jinjiri stated this while speaking to our reporter yesterday in Dutse Jigawa.
He explained that the suspect who was identified as Emmanuel Effiong Abang was among the list of Akwa-ibom police wanted kidnapper that runaway since 4th June, 2017.
According to SP Jinjiri, t?he suspect who was arrested while trying to withdraw money at the bank in Hadejia has been loitering between Nguru in Yobe state and Hadejia town in Jigawa state.
The Police spokesperson maintained that, effort is on top gear to transfer the suspect to Akwa-Ibom state police command for ?necessary legal action.
SP Jinjiri then assured that, the Jigawa state police ?command under able Commissioner CP Bala Zama Senchi promised to continue protecting the lives and properties of the citizens.
Speaking to our reporter, the suspect who denied committing the crime ?and insisted that he is just a primary school teacher in Nmbo local government of Akwa-Ibom state.
