Niger State Police Command has arrested three vigilante members for killing a traveler, Mohammed Bello who was carrying money at a check point in Tunga Galadima, Rijau local government area of the state.
The state Commissioner of Police CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman made this known while parading the suspects at its headquarters in Minna.
He said the vigilantes disguised to be community protection group.
The three suspects include; Habibu Usman, Tanko Abara and Maigero Abdullahi all of Tunga-Galadima village via Rijau.
It was reported that the said victim was at a vigilante point at Tunga Galadima village with his motorcycle retuning from Kontagora with about nine hundred and forty thousand naira in his possession.
The victim’s corpse was found close to vigilantes check point leading to their arrest.
