The command, in a statement signed by Police Public Relations Officer Wasiu Abiodun in Minna, said there was no stoppage or blockage of trucks conveying goods or animals from Minna to Kwara State and vice versa.
He maintained that there was no attempt or outright blockage by any individual or group of persons or agencies at the Kara-Jebba area of Mokwa as insinuated in the video.
The command called on members of the public to disregard the video and go about their businesses without fear of intimidation. noting that the video is an old video from about five years.
According to Abiodun, “there was no attempt or outright blockage by any individual or group of persons or agencies at the Kara-Jebba area of Mokwa as insinuated in the video,” he stated.
The command however called on members of the public to disregard the video, stressing that “it is an old video, circulated by mischief makers to cause chaos in the state or the nation.”
