The Adamawa state Police command has announced new contacts through which the members of the public can lodge official complaint against its personnel’s unprofessional misconducts in the state.
Disclosing the development in Yola, Tuesday, through a press release signed by the command’s Spokesman, Othman Abubakar said in its effort for effective policing and fight against injustice and incivility to members of public, the contacts were introduced.
“Our command wishes to inform the general public that in its effort to ensure effective policing and fight against injustice, incivility to the members of the public and complaint against police actions or misconduct “, the release highlighted
According to the release the contacts which were released by the commissioner’s X-Squad unit includes; a whatsApp number(080 30643539),A mobile phone number (070 5417755) strictly for text messages only and a mobile phone number (08129007122) for calls respectively.
It advised the public to take advantage of the new links with a sole aim of having a better and improved police force that can observe the global best practices in the security parlance.
“The command therefore advice members of public to always channel their grievances against the police personnel through the above listed contact addresses for peaceful resolution instead of taking laws in to their hands”, the release suggested.
