Bauchi state Police Command has dismantled kidnappers/banditry and cattle rustlers syndicates in the state.
They also rescued 10 kidnapped victims arrested and arrested 12 suspects, while two suspected armed bandits were killed and weapons, cash and animals were recovered.
The State Police Commissioner Auwal Musa Muhammad stated this yesterday, when he addressed a press conference in Bauchi.
He said” the Command successfully arrested six (6) suspected gangs of kidnappers and their informants including four (4) males and two (2) females, terrorizing Burra village and Ningi LGA.
He gave the name of the suspects as Hamisu Umaru ‘m’ aged 30yrs disabled, Ahmadu Abdullahi ‘m’ aged 18yrs, Adamu Wada Tela ‘m’ aged 18yrs and Usman Iliya ‘m’ aged 15yrs.
Also, the informants were listed as; Rabi Tela Abdulmumini ‘f’ and Hajara Bello.
