Police Service Commission Releases Names of 50,000 Successful Applicants
The Police Service Commission (PSC) has released the names of 50,000 successful applicants for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force as Constables.
It assured that the recruitment process was comprehensive, inclusive, equitable and transparent.
The commission said in a statement on Wednesday, all candidates who participated in the recently concluded written examination to log into the official recruitment portal: npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to check their recruitment status.
The portal will be opened by 12:00am, Thursday, 16th July, 2026.
The PSC said all successful candidates will also receive email and SMS notifications on the email addresses and phone numbers they provided during the initial application.
The successful candidates are expected to report to their designated Police Training Institutions on dates and times to be communicated in due course for medical examination and documentation.
It however said that candidates who fail to report within the stipulated time will be considered to have declined the offer, while those who fail the medical examination to be conducted by the Police Medical Team on resumption of training will be declared unfit and shall be required to leave the training.
“Candidates are to report with their training call-up slip, NIN slip, BVN slip, original and photocopies of their certificates and other required documents and items as would be listed in the recruitment portal,” it added in the statement.
The Chairman of the commission, DIG Hashimu Salihu Argungu (rtd), thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for approving the recruitment of the 50,000 Police Constables as part of measures to strengthen the nation’s security architecture.
DIG Argungu charged the successful candidates to regard the opportunity as a call to serve the nation with dignity, integrity and unwavering commitment to a safe and secured Nigeria.
