POWA distributes palliatives to widows, vulnerable in Gombe

Police Officers Wives Association in Gombe State( POWA) has distributed palliatives to cushion the suffering of widows of personnels who died in the line of duty.
They also donated to vulnerable people in the society.
Distributing the items at the Police Command Headquarters in Gombe on Monday, Secretary of the Association Mrs Damaris James highlited some of the challenges affecting widows and vulnerable. She said the association made it mandatory to carryout the exercise in recognition of world women day.
