The National President General of the National Agro-allied Commodities Co-operatives of Nigeria (NACCON) limited, Prof.
Hajarat Adesuyi Adeyeye, has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for reaching out to farmers.
He said the feature will enable the farmers in the six Geo-political zone of Nigeria to go embark on mechanized farming.
Adeyeye made this known while speaking to newsmen after the occasion of the handing over of the tractors for the mechanized farming.
She disclosed that president Tinubu had provided ten thousand tractors in Nigeria, so as to boost food security and food sufficiency in the country.
She also revealed that among the companies applied for the tractors, the Agro-allied commodities and services producer which was the commercial and service wing of NACCON limited was considered to be the first beneficiaries of the tractors hiring in Nigeria.
