Professor Mohammed Hadi Suleiman has officially assumed office as the substantive Vice Chancellor of lbrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai.
The handover ceremony which was attended by key stakeholders, was marked by expressions of gratitude, prayers, and collective commitment to the institution’s progress.
Speaking shortly after taking over the mantle of leadership, the new Vice Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Hadi Suleiman expressed his deep gratitude to Almighty Allah, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, and the Emir of Lapai, Engineer. Umaru Bago Tafida III.
He called for collective efforts to elevate IBBUL’s ranking, drawing inspiration from Institutions like Covenant University and Ahmadu Bello University.
Professor Suleiman highlighted the University’s strong academic foundation, noting the presence of accomplished Professors and an experienced Management team.
In a remark before the handing over, the outgone Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Hassan Ibrahim, expressed his joy at handing over leadership to a substantive Vice Chancellor.
Also, the Registrar, Alhaji Idris Saleh Kusherki, welcomed the new Vice Chancellor and reflected on the journey leading to his appointment.
