As part of effort to strengthen community participation, project tracking and inclusion of People with Disability, the ‘ProjectTrust’ through Connected Development (CODE) have conducted a community outreach in some selected commuties in Jigawa state.
Speaking during the visit, the CODE’s State Support Officer, comrade Adam Sulaiman explained that, the purposes of the visit was to create more rapport between project trust team and Engage with community members, leaders and other stakeholders
Comrade Adam maintained that, during the visit the team engaged community members on tracking and Monitoring projects as well as to keep a close eye on various new and ongoing projects.
While responding to the team, some residents of Doko Community area of Garki local government under the umbrella of Doko Ina mafita Association decried abandonment of township road, solar water borehole and inadequate of classroom as their major challenges. Comrade Adam maintained that, during the visit the team engaged community members on tracking and Monitoring projects as well as to keep a close eye on various new and ongoing projects.
