No fewer than 200 police officers have been trained on computer-based test by the National Information Technology Development Agency( NITDA) in Gombe state.
The North East Coordinator, National Information Technology Development Agency, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed, made this known on Friday in Gombe during the training of police officers on computer based test 2023.
He said the training exercise was aimed at preparing the officers for their forthcoming promotion examination that will be observed through computer based test.
Mr. Mohammad who revealed that similar training took place last year said Gombe state police command rang the best on computer based test during their promotion examination in the country.
He assured the participants that the agency will do all it can to ensure that the training they undergo will repeat its self.
While appreciating the effort, the Commissioner Gombe Dtate police Command, Mr. Oqua Etim, thanked the agency for carrying out the training in order to impact knowlege on officers on computer based test ahead of their promotion examination.
The commissioner said “we as Oliver twist always need more from you, when we come, open your door for us.”
He called on the participants, officers on training to do the needful by ensuring that their training will bring positive results.
According to him, “We had a similar training with NITDA last year, and Gombe state police command were rang first position in computer based test I therefore charged you to do the same as you await your promotion examination.”
