Addressing the thousands of aggrieved and protesting youths in Yola Thursday,
leader of the the group, Hon. Ibrahim Bappah Waziri, a former state lawmaker said their reason for staging the protest was to call on the government to address insecurity, inflation, poverty and food shortages in the land.
Waziri stressed that, if the president concede to these critical demands, they would have no reason to remain on the roads, urging the president to do the needful so that Nigerians can have some respite in their legitimate endeavors.
Waziri urged the president to also return subsidy on petrol and electricity.
He maintained that, with the agitations across the country, the government has been frightened, noting that if the people persist, the government will be forced to capitulate.
