A reknown Islamic Scholar Sheikh Qaribullahi Nasiru Kabara, leader of the Qadiriyya Movement in Africa, has appointed Professor Muhammad Safiyyu Abdulqadir Jahun as Khalifah Qadiriyya in Bauchi State.
Sheikh karibullah gave the appointment at the Islamic Heritage Conference organized by the Association for the Revival of Islamic Heritage and Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio, in Bauchi.
He said Professor Safiyyu was appointed on merit because of his vast islamic knowledge, fear of Allah and his numerous effort towards the propagation of Islam.
Sheikh qaribullah urged desciples of Sheikh Abdulqadir to cooperate with the new khalifa in following the path of Allah and Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
