Qausain TV, a renowned television network, has bestowed the prestigious Award of Excellence upon Alhaji Munir Jaafaru, the former Managing Director of the National Maritime Authority and Chairman of Nigeria’s Unity Bank, who currently holds the esteemed title of Madakin Zazzau.
The award ceremony which took place in Zaria, was led by Qausain TV’s national president, Malam Nasir Musa Idris, popular known as Albani Agege.
During the event, Alhaji Nasir Musa highlighted the compelling reasons behind Qausain TV’s decision to honor Madakin Zazzau, acknowledging his remarkable contributions to the community and the nation as a whole.
Albani Agege stated, “Alhaji Munir Jaafaru has excelled as a lawyer, technocrat, administrator, and esteemed elder statesman. His exemplary leadership in various capacities deserves recognition by Nigeria and its people.”
Expressing his gratitude upon receiving the award, Alhaji Munir Jaafaru, extended his heartfelt appreciation to Qausain TV for the unexpected recognition.
He also lauded the network for its exceptional content and valuable services, which have positively impacted Nigerian society and beyond.
“I was not expecting such recognition from any organization. I was so much supprised for that and I thank you for find me worthy to honour and awarded me.”
“I and my family together are always watching your television station, enjoying the informative and educative programmes showing in Hausa, English and Arabic,” he said.
While congratulating Qausain National President for his commitment, he also appealed to the young Nigerians to partake in that pursue their careers for the betterment of Nigeria and Nigerians.
In 2021, Munir Jaafaru was elevated from Yariman Zazzau to the position of Madakin Zazzau, the highest ranking title for a prince in Zazzau Emirate by the His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmed Bamalli.
