Electric vehicle company, Qoray, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc to strengthen after-sales support for electric vehicle (EV) owners across the country.

The agreement designates TotalEnergies as the official after-sales partner for Qoray’s 4-wheeler EV category, allowing customers to access diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs at selected TotalEnergies Quartz Auto Service centres nationwide.

Speaking on the partnership, Qoray Chief Executive Officer, Olabanjo Alimi, said the collaboration addresses a critical gap in Nigeria’s EV market access to reliable after-sales service.

“One of the most pressing issues for current and prospective EV owners is access to quality after-sales support,” Alimi said. “This partnership expands the support network and builds a long-term ecosystem of trust, service, and reliability.”

TotalEnergies’ General Manager, Retail and Cards, Abdullahi Umar, noted that the partnership reinforces the company’s commitment to sustainable energy and innovation.

“At TotalEnergies, we recognise the importance of infrastructure and support services in promoting new technologies,” Umar said. “This collaboration with Qoray reflects our goal to make electric mobility more practical and accessible in Nigeria.”

The partnership takes immediate effect, with operational rollouts already underway at selected service centres. Future plans include specialised training for technicians, feedback-driven service enhancement, and adherence to international service standards
