From Yakubu Mustapha Minna

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has  called for sustained prayers for the President, the country, and Niger State Government for Allah’s direction.

The Governor made the call in his Ramadan message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, as Muslims the world over commence this year’s Ramadan Fast.

He observed that Ramadan Fast is a special month of spiritual exercise that brings about blessings, favours and forgiveness from Allah to those that participate in it.

Governor Bago further tasked Muslim Ummah in the State to use the period to ensure spiritual rejuvenation and growth, saying that they allow their spiritual growth to reflect in every aspect of their lives beyond the Ramadan period.
