Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated one billion naira to support the victims of flood, banditry, boat mishap and fire disasters in Niger State.
She made the donation through the Renewed Hope Initiative in Minna, when she paid a condolence visit to the government and people of Niger State.
She described the disasters were unfortunate and prayed to God Almighty to comfort the families of the bereaved.
She added that the money and other relief materials including two thousand fifty KG bags of rice, clothes, shoes are to help families get back on their feet.
She also commended governor Muhammad Umar Bago for promptly responding to the occasion by donating funds and grains to support families that were displaced.
The Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago who confirmed the recipient of the one billion naira donated, appreciated the benevolence of the first lady.
