Hon. Sarah Ivie Adidi, a House of Representatives aspirant for the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) and Bwari Federal Constituency, has lauded the elevation of the Sarkin Bwari, His Royal Highness Alhaji Awwal Musa Ijakoro II, to a First-Class traditional ruler in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Describing the promotion as a well-deserved honor, Adidi expressed her sentiments during an Easter Sunday visit to the monarch’s palace in Bwari—an activity forming part of her broader Easter welfare program.

During the visit, Adidi commended the monarch for his exemplary leadership and commitment to fostering peace and development within his domain.

She further utilized the occasion to solicit the royal father’s blessings and support for her legislative bid, pledging to drive transformative change and inclusive development for the AMAC/Bwari constituency if elected.

In his response, the monarch expressed appreciation for the visit and the gesture, assuring the aspirant of his goodwill and the palace’s support for her political aspirations.

As part of the outreach, Adidi distributed various relief items—including rice, vegetable oil, spaghetti, tomato paste, and sugar—to women residing within the palace’s vicinity.

The humanitarian initiative continued on Saturday, April 4, at the Agwan Hausawa community near Lokogoma.

In collaboration with the Gora Foundation, the aspirant provided additional relief materials to residents, including clothing, soap, beverages, assorted food items, and prepared meals.

Speaking at the outreach, Adidi emphasized that the gesture was aimed at sharing the spirit of Easter with the residents, whom she identified as vital stakeholders in the constituency’s growth.

She reaffirmed her organization’s ongoing dedication to supporting underserved communities across the FCT through targeted medical and humanitarian interventions.
