The West African Examinations Council has announced the release of the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination results for school candidates.
The examination body disclosed the development in a statement shared on its official X handle on Wednesday, confirming that candidates can now access their results online.
According to WAEC, candidates are required to first generate a Personal Identification Number (PIN) through its official website before proceeding to check their results on the WAEC Direct portal.
According to the council, “The 2026 WASSCE for School Candidates results have been released. Generate your PIN on the WAEC portal and check your results on the WAEC Direct platform.”
The announcement comes after weeks of anticipation by candidates, parents and schools across the country.
WAEC urged candidates to follow the prescribed procedure for result checking to ensure seamless access to their performance in the examination.
