The Executive chairman of Abuja Municipal Area council in the FCT, Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has inaugurated ten Taskforce committee members for the sake of revenue generation in the area.
The committee members are: the Executive Chairman of AMAC; Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, Yunusa Ahmadu Yusuf; Taskforce Chairman, Kingsley Madaki; Secretary, Chief Magistrate Habiba I.U Bello; AMAC mobile court magistrate and Magistrate Bamisile Olumide Ayopo.
Others include: Magistrate Abubakar Abdulkadir Jega, magistrate Ngozi Clementina Okonkwo, Ndudi Ezekiel Chidi; AMAC Taskforce legal Adviser, Danjuma John and Douglas Itiat.
While delivering his speech, Maikalangu told the Task force members that their choice to serve was based on the confidence reposed in them, as he said nothing less was expected from them.
He said: “To the Glory of God and for the betterment of humanity and by the powers conferred on me as the Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council, I hereby inaugurate the AMAC Taskforce on Revenue Enforcement monitoring and Inspection today”
“you must esshew any form of corrupt act, favouritism or narrow-mindedness as to whom much is given, much is also expected, the Chairman warned.
