The Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) under the leadership of Alhaji Adamu Mustapha Danze has nothing to show in the area of revenue generation, a reliable source has said.
A source hinted that despite the revenue being generated at the various markets of the Area Council alongside the monthly allocation the council’s chairman had failed to carryout meaningful projects in the area.
An impeccable source alleged that the revenue generation of the Area Council was being shared among the political aides of the chairman without thinking of developmental projects in Gwagwalada.
It was reliably gathered that the authority of the Area Council cannot give proper account of the revenue generated every month by a Division of Revenue Generation of the council.
Reacting to the development, a trader at the Zuba fruits market who did not want his name to be mentioned in print, accused the council’s boss of non-challant attitude towards the development of the market despite the revenue generated there.
