The Rivers State House of Assembly has officially inaugurated Napoleon Ukalikpe and Henrietta Dinebari Loolo as members of the House.
The inauguration took place yesterday in Port Harcourt, at the Assembly chambers.
Ukalikpe, representing Ahoada East State Constituency II, and Loolo, representing Khana State Constituency II, were elected in the February 21, 2026 by-elections.
The by-elections were conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), to fill vacancies in the State Assembly and restore full legislative representation for the affected constituencies.
Both lawmakers secured their seats under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.“Towards the end of the ceremony, the crowd was thrilled by a beautiful cultural song performance by Jital Yobe, dedicated to Mr. Peter Obi and the Obidient Movement.
“The song, filled with messages of hope and change, uplifted the spirit of the gathering. Members joined in, waving flags and chanting along with the chorus. This cultural display added color and energy to the inauguration, reinforcing the collective belief that Peter Obi is coming, and a New Nigeria is possible.
