RTEAN loses Ex-FCT secretary

The leadership of Road Transport Employers’ Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Chapter has lost the former secretary of the association in the FCT, Alhaji Mohammed Rabilu who was also the former vice chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council.
The chairman of RTEAN in Gwagwalada, Mallam Atiku Abubakar, who disclosed this while speaking with Peoples Daily Correspondent in Gwagwalada on Saturday.
Abubakr urged the family of the deceased to bear the irreparable loss, saying that death is inevitable.
He said the deceased had contributed immensely to the development of the association in Gwagwalada and the FCT at large.
He then advised the members of the association to always emulate the leadership quality of the deceased, urging them to shun any act capable of tarnishing the image of the association.
The Gwagwalada RTEAN chairman therefore, charged the government of the day to give the necessary support to the transport unions in the area of finance so as to meet up with the welfare of their members, pointing out that RTEAN is an association that employs every tribe across the country.
