The chairman of the Road Transport Employers’ Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) Dei-dei in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Dan-Baba Yobe, has called on the FCT minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello to deem it necessary to carry the associations/unions along in the territory to pave way for seamless operations and revenue generation.
He said that his administration would continue to support and co-operate with the FCT Administration for the overall development of the FCT.
Yobe, who made the call in a recent interview with Peoples Daily in Dei-Dei, urged the National Executive Council (NEC) of the association to give the necessary support to RTEAN chapel in the Territory.
He further charged the NEC to gear towards providing vehicles for all RTEAN chapels in Abuja for the smooth running of the association, saying that his administration would continue to work hand in hand with the National body of RTEAN for the overall development of the association.
He advised the drivers to be law-abiding citizens of the association, while urging them to enter the motor parks whenever they want to embark on the journey.
