The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) States chairmen Forum, Ben Nwoye, has commended the decision of the National Executive Council (NEC) of the party to dissolve the States executives, saying the decision was meant to save the party.
In a reaction issued shortly after the NEC took the decision, Nwoye, who is also the Enugu State Chairman of APC, said “the outcome of the NEC meeting was in the interest of the party to further strengthen the party and further streamline the processes and solidify the party and by the time the Caretaker Committee finishes their work, we have a more formidable party.
“We have more forward looking and more Progressive political party. I don’t know where you got that information from, all I know is that, this is the official position of the forum”, he said while denying that some states chairmen are against the decision.
