The commissioner overseeing the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State Mr Samuel Aruwan has called on all residents of the State to see the security of lives and property as their sole responsibility which should not be left to the government alone.
He asserted this when he received a Network of civil society working in School to Present a fact sheet of some security concerns area that affects school in part the state Kaduna yesterday
He said the state government is doing it’s best to ensure the safety and security of it’s citizens in ensuring everywhere is safe No
The commissioner charge all stakeholders holders to support government,and security agencies with intelligent reports to mitigate insecurity
He also called on them to defy fear and expose criminality adding that some of the hard to reach community are the ones facing some challenges at moment
“Regrettably it is a set back, which has cripple economic activities, affected farming, including schools and health care facilities”he said
He emphasis that gov will not relent in its effort to ensure adequate security to the people
“The Gov have recruited vigilant service,to complement the efforts of the security in the state “he said
According to him, that civil society is only ment to be used to address press against the govt ,but be a co-creation for the betterment of the state
He commend the group for the bold step and assures them that the concerns raise will received the needed attention to address some of the concerns raised to ensure all schools are safe for learning.
