Sen. Wamakko Honoured by Retired Civil Servants Association in Sokoto

The Sokoto State Retired Civil Servants Association (SOSRECSA) has conferred a Certificate of Membership on Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, naming him an Extraordinary Member and Grand Patron of the association.

The honour was awarded in recognition of the senator’s contributions to the development of Sokoto State and his support for the welfare of retired civil servants.
According to a statement issued on Sunday in Sokoto by Wamakko’s spokesperson,

Bashar Abubakar, the decision was approved by the association’s State Chairman, Balarabe Marafa Silame, and State Secretary, Muhammad Garba Bazza.

The statement noted that the recognition reflects Wamakko’s longstanding relationship with retired civil servants and his continued commitment to the welfare and development of the people of Sokoto State.

Wamakko currently represents the Sokoto North Senatorial District in the Senate and previously served as Governor of Sokoto State.
