Senator Abubakar Kyari Receives Prestigious Aluta News Award for Agricultural Revolution and Mechanization Efforts

The 4th anniversary of Aluta News lecture and award ceremony held in Abuja, witnessed the honoring of Senator Abubakar Kyari, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, with a prestigious award. As the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Kyari has pledged to commit 100% to serving the nation, driving Nigeria towards achieving food security and sovereignty.

Senator Kyari’s outstanding leadership has also been recognized for the landmark Nigeria-Brazil Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This groundbreaking agreement is set to attract a staggering $4.3 billion in private sector investments to Nigeria’s agricultural sector, covering all 774 local governments.

The MOU’s scope is truly transformative, focusing on fertilizer production and hybrid seed technology. This strategic partnership is expected to revolutionize agriculture in Nigeria, driving growth, and enhancing food security.

Although Senator Kyari was unable to attend the ceremony due to his absence from the country, the award will be presented to him in his office during the week.
