Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe’s foundation through its free medical outreach program has treated 1,500 residents with different health challenges in Adamawa state.
The outreach was conducted at a local healthcare centre in Banjiram town with a massive turnout of rural dwellers from its surrounding villages.
The program took place at the weekend in Guyuk local government area of the Adamawa southern senatorial district.
Leader of the medical team, Dr.Jama Medan revealed after the outreach that, the medical outing initially targeted 2000 people but only 1,500 were abled to access the exercise.
Medan disclosed that out of the total number of patients attended to by his team, ten(10) patients had undergone successful surgeries carried out on them during the outreach.
He explained that, this medical outreach came with a difference compared to the previous ones undertaken in other parts of the constituency.
He added that the Binos foundation partnered Life Full Company and some student doctors serving their primary assignment with NYSC in the state.
According to him, some of the peculiar cases were referred to Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital and Specialist Hospital Yola, respectively.
