Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, representing Borno south, has demonstrated his commitment for supporting and uplifting his constituents.
Ndume, paid a heartfelt visit to the victims of the recent Chinane attacks who are currently undergoing treatment at the State Specialist Hospital in Maiduguri.
Sen. Ndume conveyed his deepest sympathies and concern for the well-being of the victims and their families.
Despite the challenges faced by the victims, including one being in the Intensive Care Unit, the senator’s presence brought solace and encouragement to all those affected by the tragic events.
He also offered prayers for the swift recovery of the victims, emphasizing the importance of standing in solidarity with the brave individuals who have made tremendous sacrifices in service to their community.
Recognizing the profound impact of the attack on the victims and their families, Senator Ndume took decisive action to alleviate their burdens and provide much-needed support.
Sen. Ndume donated tricycles to the families of the victims, offering them a means of transportation to facilitate their daily activities and livelihoods, and sent a team to provide cash support to assist with their urgent needs upon admission to the hospital.
Additionally, he has taken proactive steps to ensure that one of the victims receives the necessary medical care, facilitating their transfer to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for specialized treatment.
Junaid Jibril Maiva, Senator Ndume’s Head of Media, facilitated the presentation of the tricycle, known as JEGA, to the mother of the victim, providing them with support for the day-to-day upkeep of their loved ones who are members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF).
