Senator Sunday Karimi Applauds President Tinubu’s Approval of North Central Development Commission Bill

Senator Sunday Karimi of Kogi West has expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for signing the North Central Development Commission Bill into law. This significant move aims to establish a federal government intervention agency dedicated to revitalizing the deteriorating infrastructure in the North Central States.

In his remarks, Karimi emphasized that the commission will play a crucial role in addressing the infrastructural challenges exacerbated by conflicts involving Fulani herders and farmers, among other issues. He stated, “The President has signed the North Central Development Commission Bill into law, and it is clear that this commission will assist in the development of our region.”

The senator commended the President’s foresight and goodwill in pursuing national development and assured that stakeholders in the region will work collaboratively to ensure the commission fulfills its intended purpose. He urged Nigerians to continue supporting President Tinubu in his efforts to foster development across the country.
