Shagari: Nigerians will re-elect Jonathan

Date:

From Raji Bello Sokoto

Sokoto state Deputy Governor and leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Mukhtar Shehu Shagari yesterday said Nigerians would re-elect President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 despite the campaign of calumny against him by some politicians in the North.

This is just as resident communities in the state, including 1,545 groups also adopted Shagari as their preferred candidate for the 2015 governorship election in the state.

Addressing hundreds of non-indigenes who paid him Sallah homage at his residence in Sokoto, Shagari maintained that Jonathan’s presidency was ordained by God and as such Nigerians would vote massively for him in the 2015 election.
