Dr. Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanemi, the Shehu of Borno, has extended heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, founder of the Queen Adenike Tejuosho Foundation, for her generous support during the recent flood disaster that impacted the Borno Emirate.
In a letter dated October 23, 2024, the Shehu expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Borno Emirate Council and the community, acknowledging Dr. Tejuosho’s visit and contributions during a challenging period.
“Your kindness and generosity made a tangible difference in the lives of those affected, helping to provide food, shelter, and hope,” he stated.
The floods have left many residents in distress, but the response from Dr. Tejuosho and other benefactors has been a source of solace. The Shehu emphasized that the collective resolve of the community, bolstered by such acts of philanthropy, has been crucial in initiating the recovery and rebuilding process.
