A middle-aged cobbler simply called Victor Nkoli has been arrested by men of Ilasamaja Divisional Police Station, for allegedly defilement of a nine yr-old a girl barely two months after his wedding in Lagos.
The incident was said to have happened at 11 Gbadamosi Street Ilasamaja, Lagos where the suspect and the parent of the victim resides.
According to the doctor’s report obtained from the General Hospital, Isolo, it was confirmed that the little girl had been defiled and has also been infested with a sexual transmitted disease that has being causing itching in her private part.
According to an impeccable police source, the doctor’s report confirmed that the victim might have been infected with staphylococcus, which could have resulted to the constant itching in her private part.
Speaking further , the source said , the little girl was always invited by the suspect, who hails from Isiala Ngwa in Abia state, for a sex romp whenever her mother is away at work.
The bubble burst when the victim’s teacher observed that the victim was not only losing concentration in the class, but was always busy scratching her private part and was no longer walking properly.
It was the teacher, according to him, invited and asked the victim what has been happening to her later and that after much prodding, she revealed that “Uncle Victor has been sleeping with me” and warning her never to reveal the amorous affair to anyone. She also revealed that suspect gives her N50 to buy biscuit and sweets after every round of sex.
Shocked by disbelief, the school’s management, armed with the revelation by the victim, immediately contacted her mother, who subsequent reported to the Police and the suspect was arrested and detained, while the victim was referred to General Hospital at Isolo for medical report, which confirmed the defilement and infection.
In a chat with our correspondent, Victor vehemently denied the allegation, stressing that all he used to do to the minor was to help her with her homework.
Putting up a spirited defense, Victor intoned, “I just got married two months ago and we were still on honeymoon before this allegation was levelled against me. I am still in shock as to why this girl will be telling the Police that she has been sleeping with me”.
