Sokoto: Wike reacts to Gov Tambuwal’s victory

The governor of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has reacted to the Supreme Court judgement affirming the election of Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State.
The Supreme Court had struck out the appeal brought by Ahmed Aliyu of APC challenging the last governorship election in the state.
In reference to a statement issued by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Polinious Nsirim, commended the Supreme Court for allowing the will of the people to prevail.
He also went ahead to describe the victory as a confirmation of the overwhelming support given to Tambuwal by the people of Sokoto.
He said “I enjoin Governor Tambuwal to work for the unity and growth of the state through an all-inclusive governance,” he added.
