From: Femi Oyelola, Kaduna

As Nigerians are gearing towards embarking on protests as a result of hardship in the country, the Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association (SKCLA), has advised youths not to participate in the planned nationwide protest but to allow total healing of the land after suffering several attacks in the recent past.
Chairman of the Association and Vision Pioneer Throneroom Trust Ministry Kafanchan, Apostle Dr Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, made the call on the sidelines of a special Thanksgiving service for elected and appointed officers from Southern Kaduna in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria, Southern Kaduna Zone in Kafanchan.
Apostle Kure explained that though the region, like any other part of the country, is also experiencing hunger and harsh economic realities, it is not wise to join a protest that might be hijacked by enemies of the land to cause a crisis that wiljeopardizese the healing process in the land.
He appealed to the people to give the government more time to fix the decay caused by past administrations, especially now that the current government at the federal and state levels has started giving the people of Southern Kaduna hope and inclusivity in appointments and project execution.
