The Women Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (WOWICAN), has called on the Boko Harm Insurgents to cease fire and stop the mayhem in the country, because the majority of the causalities are either somebody’s husband or children.

The group stated this while addressing the media in Kaduna yesterday, reiterating its commitment to seek God’s intervention where it seems to be hard for human efforts to tackle insecurity and other social vices bedeviling the nation to yield desired results.

The women, who were led by National Chairperson of WOWICAN, Pastor Dr. Mabel Oyin Sowolu also lamented the spate of killings in the North-East, thereby calling on all Nigerians to join them in prayers and action in order to collectively, overcome the challenge.
