Sunagrow Soya Bean oil refining plant to produces 500,000 liters per day, – Gov Sani

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani said $50 million Soya Bean oil refining plant by Sunagrow International Oil Ltd at Kutungare, Igabi Local Government area of the State is expected to produce 500,000 liters per day when fully operational.
He asserted this at the groundbreaking ceremony, of the factory in Kaduna yesterday.
He added that the factory will also contribute to the economic development of Kaduna and Nigeria by creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs across the production value chain.
Governor Sani who was elated by the direct foreign investment brought to his state by Sunagrow International, said it will enable the transfer of technology and technical know-how related to the area of Soya extraction and refinery processes, thereby leading to the development of local expertise in the field.
According to Governor Sani, “I am delighted to perform the groundbreaking for the construction of the $50 Million Soya Bean Oil Refining Plant by Sunagrow International Oil Ltd at Kutungare, Igabi LG of Kaduna State.
“When completed, the $50m Soya Bean Oil Refining Plant will have a production capacity of 500,000 liters per day. It will also contribute to the economic development of Kaduna and Nigeria by creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs at various skill levels, from agricultural laborers to skilled technicians and engineers for the refinery operations.”
