After just playing a couple of games for Nigeria at the World Cup, Super Eagles midfielder Babatunde Michael might be reaping the rewards of two sterling performances at the World Cup with English Premier League side, Sunderland.
The 21-year old claims to have received an offer from the English side, who barely escaped relegation from the English top flight. And Babatunde said that the offers are on the table, “I have received an offer from several clubs but the one from Sunderland is the one that interests me,” Babatunde said.
“I have received several offers from different places, but I’m interested in the one from Sunderland. They have contacted my agent, and we will see how it goes from there.
