A prominent support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Tinubu Youth Vanguard Organisation (TYVO), has called on Nigerians to support the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing what it described as key achievements of his administration.
The Director-General of TYVO, Innocent Egede, made the call at the weekend during the commissioning of the organisation’s office in Abuja and the donation of campaign vehicles to support nationwide mobilisation.
Egede said the vehicles would enhance the group’s outreach efforts across the country, enabling it to take the administration’s message and achievements to grassroots communities.
He urged Nigerians to stay informed about government activities by engaging with official digital platforms, noting that the Tinubu administration has recorded progress in several sectors.
According to him, these include infrastructure development, the student loan scheme aimed at expanding access to education, economic reforms, agricultural investment, improved security, and increased inclusion of youths and women in governance.
Egede added that TYVO is a grassroots political support organisation established to promote and defend the “Renewed Hope” agenda of President Tinubu, with a focus on securing his re-election in the 2027 general elections.
Also speaking at the event, the Director-General of the APC Support Group Council, Sadiq Abubakar Jikta, commended the initiative and pledged continued support for the group’s activities.
Jikta said the donation of campaign vehicles would significantly boost mobilisation efforts across the country, expressing confidence that such initiatives would contribute to the President’s electoral success in 2027. He also encouraged other support groups to emulate TYVO’s efforts.
In his remarks, the APC Head of Mobilisation and Support Groups, Salisu Yahaya Alfa, said the commissioning of the office and deployment of vehicles to various geopolitical zones would strengthen coordination and grassroots engagement ahead of future political activities.
The event featured the unveiling of the new office facility and the presentation of vehicles designated for mobilisation across the country.
