The Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON) has inducted 433 newly qualified surveyors.
SURCON stated this yesterday during the induction yesterday in Abuja, with the theme: Beyond the Seal: Elevating Your Brand Voice and Value as a Professional”.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Development Arc. Ahmed Dangiwa, congratulated the newly inauguration members into the noble profession of survey.
“Your induction today bring additional number to survey in our dear nation “.
He said surveying is critical in the fiscal economy and infrastructural development of our great nation,which is the hallmark of Mr President Renewed Hope Agenda .
“ I congratulate the council for its unwavering commitment to upholding excellence, professionalism and ethical standards in survey profession”.
Dangiwa stated that “To all new the inductees you are stepping into the world where new technology , geo spatial intelligence and innovation are reshaping all our professions”.
He urged them to stay abreast with their academic laurel and embrace continuous learning and adhere to the code of ethics and conducts of profession.
“The future of land administration , urban planning and development lies significantly on you”.
Earlier, The Chairman of the occasion, the Surveyor General of the Federation (SGOF) Abduganiyu Adeyemi Adebomehin, in his address said “Today is a new dawn of a promising future where your expertise will be needed in the shaping of the nation and whole world at large .
Adebomehin said
“The induction signifies not just the hard work but equally your dedication”.
The SGOF assured the new surveyors that “We will champion your development through ongoing learning opportunities and collaborative studies that encourage the exchange of knowledge and best practices”.
Meanwhile, The Registrar of SURCON , Surv. Olakunle Olugbemiro inducted the newly qualified surveyors into the Surveying Profession, led them in taking the induction Oath and signing the register.
