Switch Media and Freelance Publications, publishers of Switch Magazine, are coming out soon with a series of interviews featuring key policy makers, ministers, governors-elect and entrepreneurs.
The cover page is adorned with the Director-General National Agency for The Great Green Wall, (NAGGW), Dr. Yusuf Maina-Bukar, who marked his first year as DG, having been appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
An expert in Climate Change Adaptation and Sustainable Development, he spoke on Nigeria’s energy transition as a climate change strategy.
He gave insights into challenges faced, measures taken to overcome them, blueprints to restore the ecosystem for the benefits of humanity.
The magazine is focussed on youths-friendly topics, digital economy, environment including climate change, biodiversity and remediation of polluted environment.
First of its kind in the country. the latest edition of the magazine is hitting the streets this month, and will come with interviews with high-profile government officials, among them are, the Honorable Minister of Environment, Mohammed H. Abdullahi, Director General of National Information Technology Development Agency, (NITDA), Mal Kashim Inuwa, Dauda Lawal, Governor Elect of Zamfara State, Aisha Hashim CEO of Shakara Nourish Bowl, winner of CEO’s Network Africa Awards under Food and Catering among accomplished young Nigerians.
In a press statement issued by the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Danladi Muktar who traced the history of the magazine to the quest for the robust involvement of Nigerian youths in governance, he noted that this has translated to the motto of the magazine as apart from dwelling on government policies, it strives to give the youths of the country a voice and outlet to ventilate their views.
