The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Taraba State has on Friday congratulated president Bola Tinubu over his victory at the tribunal, saying that the judgement has laid to rest all forms of doubt concerning APC victory in the last general election.
This was contained in a statement by the party’s publicity secretary, Mr. Aaron Artimas indicated that the party’s working committee led by the Chairman Barr. Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi and the Party’s Gubernatorial Candidate in the last General Elections Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, as well as other stakeholders.
They applauded the members of the tribunal for making sure that they pass the verdict in the best interest of Nigerians had the country’s democracy.
“The party noted that the judgement now lays to rest all forms of doubts, deceptions, and falsehoods regarding APC’S victory in the last presidential elections.
“Describing the petition as frivolous, the Party in Taraba State also noted that the submissions of the petitioners were virtually shredded for their lack of substance and logic.
“It stated that with the successful resolution of the legal issues, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will now have a better opportunity to execute his renewed agenda for the benefits of Nigerians. It also called on opposition parties to join hands with the government to move the country forward.
“The party seized the opportunity to commend and appreciate the President for nominating and inaugurating Barr Uba Maigari Ahmadu as a member of the Federal Executive Council, representing Taraba State, adding that the gesture has given Tarabans a sense of belonging and raised the hopes of those waiting for their own political rewards”, the statement added.
