Taraba State acting Governor, Alhaji Garaba Umar has commissioned an ultra-modern Government Lodge in Ammecce, Bachama ward of Karim lamido Local Government area of the state.
At the ceremony, the Acting Governor said the construction of the government lodge in Ammecce was necessary in view of high demand for accommodation by visitors into the area.
Umar urge people in the area to maintain peaceful coexistence to enable them feel presence through projects that have direct bearing on them and appealed to the community to strive toward maintaining the projects sited in their area.
Meanwhile, the acting governor said that his administration will continue to judiciously utilize meagre resources available, in order to provide infrastructure for the people.
He stated this in Dogon-Yeli Bachama ward, in Karim-Lamido Local government area, while inaugurating the rural electrification, solar energy and boreholes constructed by the state government.
Umar enjoined people of the area to make maximum use of the facilities and guard said against vandals.
The acting governor said the projects were meant to improve their living conditions and also feel the impact of the government.
Earlier, the commissioner for Water Resources and Rural Development, Iliya Aliyu Lege appealed to Bachama community to take proper care of the facilities.
