The Vice Chancellor of Taraba State University, Prof. Sunday Bako, has reiterated the institution’s commitment to providing a world-class education that prepares students for success in their chosen fields.

Prof. Bako made this known during the university’s 16th matriculation ceremony held in Jalingo on Friday.

He noted that the university’s desire is to ensure academic excellence and character development that prepares students to make meaningful contributions globally.

“TSU is committed to providing a supportive and stimulating environment that allows students to grow, explore, and discover their passions. Our institution is committed to providing a world-class education that prepares you for success in your chosen field.

“We are proud to be a student-centered institution, dedicated to grooming generational leaders. Our focus is on academic excellence, character development, and preparing students to make meaningful contributions globally,” Prof. Bako said.

He encouraged the new students to emulate their lecturers’ examples, embracing self-discipline, self-care, and a strong work ethic as ambassadors of the university. Prof. Bako described the institution as a community that values diversity, inclusivity, and excellence.

The Vice Chancellor also commended Governor Agbu Kefas for his support, which has enabled the university to achieve remarkable development.
