The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has scheduled a planned maintenance exercise on Saturday, 4th April, 2026, from 10.00AM to 5.00 PM.
A statement from the management said that the outage is necessary for the installation and commissioning of critical infrastructure on the 132KV Birnin Kebbi to Sokoto line.
According to the statement, this is to restore grid stability while the areas to be affected include: Sokoto, Talata Mafara and Gusau
“We regret any inconvenience inconvenience this may cause and assure that the restoration will happen immediately once the TCN completes the work.”
